We had to present our presentations this week, but since there was no train going to Utrecht on Monday, I was absent in the lesson. Luckily, my learning team agreed to meet up on Tuesday for the presentation. While I was presenting, I realized that I like the idea of creating a notebook/planner more than a magazine. I guess you can say my heart fluttered more when I talked about it. After Casper gave his feedback, it seemed better to choose for a notebook/planner since it is more interesting, and the other concepts were generic.
With our designated learning team, we each discussed our final decision and talked about the ideas that we have. So, this week I brainstormed a lot and tried to make a decision on which theory, as well as which target audience I would like to focus on. Right now I'm 100% sure that I want to work with the left/right brain theory, and with the Japanese adolescent from 12-16 years old.
Week 1 is where the introduction started, and we get to choose to work with static or moving type of media. Personally, I do not like "moving" media that much so I chose for static media because I really want to create a magazine and print it out. For this week, I mainly focused on brainstorming for ideas/options and also read all the articles for the theories. After reading all the theories, I decided to focus on the left/right brain theory and the Japanese adolescent girls as target audience.
